preconstruction
At Ellingson Contracting, we take every opportunity to be involved in our projects as early on as possible. We offer Preconstruction services to help complement design development and establish accurate expectations for our clients. These services include developing preliminary budgets, providing progress estimates, offering constructability input and value engineering options, determining project milestones and durations, soliciting bids from subcontractors, and providing a complete proposal that includes final pricing along with an overall project schedule. By the end of this phase, our client will have a final proposal in-hand along with sufficient information to make an informed decision.
design / build
Do you have a vision for your project but need help knowing where to start? Our Design-Build services provide a one-stop shop for design and construction. We create an environment where the client, design team, and builder can work collaboratively to achieve project goals.
This hybrid approach allows the builder to hold all the contracts with the design team and subcontractors, streamlining the project for our client. In this Design-Build role, we will provide our client with a recommended designer and coordinate the creation of schematic design documents, progress plan sets, and a final set of construction plans, all while keeping our client updated with regular progress budgets to help them make informed decisions as the design develops.
Once the design has been accepted and our client has given approval to proceed, we can transition seamlessly into construction and provide comprehensive project management to turn the initial project goals into reality.
construction management
Once project documents are complete and a project is ready to start, we provide Construction Management (CM) services that include full project coordination during the construction phase. We can function either as the CM at Risk or through CM Agency. Using either method, our team will work to keep the project safe, on schedule, within budget, while meeting or exceeding quality expectations.
Our Construction Management services provide the crucial link between the client, design team, subcontractors, and municipal authorities to keep the project moving forward from groundbreaking to final completion.
